Dr. Nancy Allen – April Speaker

Allen,Nancy2Nancy Allen practiced law for fifteen years as Assistant Missouri Attorney General and Assistant Prosecutor in her native Ozarks. She’s tried over thirty jury cases, including murder and sexual offenses, and is now an adjunct professor of law at Missouri State University. Her Ozarks Mystery series is published by Harper Collins/Witness Impulse. Her first novel, The Code of the Hills, was released in 2014. The sequel, A Killing at the Creek, was released in 2015. The third book in the series, The Wages of Sin, will be released April 26, 2016. In addition to her Ozarks Mysteries, Nancy is currently working with James Patterson as co-author of a novel for Hachette/Little Brown.

Dr. Allen will be speaking to the Guild April 23 at 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Cafeteria, corner of Fremont and Battlefield, in Springfield, Missouri. Public is welcome to attend.

Her topic will be “A Hillbilly Author’s Path to Publication.”
