Ross Malone

Ross Malone is a Missouri historian who writes about Missouri people, places, and events that should be well-known but aren’t.  This teacher, radio host, newspaper columnist, and speaker has written twenty books and numerous magazine articles and newspaper columns about the fascinating things all around us both past and present. His Missouri history column “Back in the Day” is published weekly in newspapers across the state.

 Missouri’s Forgotten Heroes is already his best seller has been selected by the Ozarks Writers League as this year’s “Best Book of the Year.”

Described by one newspaper as the “Czar of Missouri History,” Ross is a frequent guest on radio and television stations in Missouri.
