Susan won the American Poetry Award at age 16, and wrote about famous landmarks around Illinois and Missouri before writing her first novel.

Her books are both traditionally and indie published. She has written both adult and children’s books available on Amazon and at her website: susankeeneauthor.com.

Susan spent 20 years in the medical profession and loves to weave her experiences into her stories. She lives on a farm near Niangua in the beautiful Ozarks. Her hobbies are Native American culture, treasure hunting with her metal detector, reading and, tending her apple and pear orchard.
